The workshops are open to everyone—please feel free to pass this information on to any therapists and counsellors you feel may be interested.
This workshop will briefly cover all the main sexual problems men and women may experience and we will discuss the impact such problems can have on relationships. Part of the session will be spent on learning to be comfortable using sexual language with clients and how to do an initial assessment. We will also explore how sexual issues impact on individual difficulties such as depression and anxiety. Case studies will be used to demonstrate how to apply the understanding gained in the workshop.
How you can help clients to learn how to understand and communicate their views and feelings clearly, calmly and confidently and boost their self esteem at the same time. We will look at understanding anxiety and how to deal with it. This workshop is highly practical with methods to help work out the patterns of behaviour that hold people back and stop them from getting what they want out of life.
Research evidence shows that a large majority of women are dissatisfied with their sex lives. This workshop will explore the physiology and psychology of female arousal to aid our understanding of how to enhance our experience of love-making. The session includes interactive and experiential work but no-one will be required to share any personal information whatsoever. As well as informing work with clients who are experiencing sexual problems, attendees may find the session useful in expanding their own sexual experience.
